Actually managed to miss this somehow yesterday, which is a pity because it’s really cool. The three tracks here are some of my favorites, and the only other time I think they’ve been mixed together is Descend (and maybe one of the MeGaDanceVania tracks).

Quite a cool piece, fitting with Mr. Strider’s character. The synth parts toward the end are really interesting, so it’s a pity that they don’t have any backing. The noise channel drums are a bit on the heavy side, though only in the sections where the lower pitch one plays on the beat. The higher pitch drum is fine. Sounds very futuristic. It would be great in a 2024-themed platformer where you hop around the rooftops of Washington DC.

Some have said that there are too many Doctor remixes. They have likely never heard this one. The instrumentation and general dance style give it the originality a remix needs, while it stays faithful to the source material. Plus, it’s really catchy. This needs to make it onto LoFaM2.

Hey, guys!

Got a work in progress. I’ve been really lacking on doing anything guitar related, my last piece being “Clown Fury” four months ago. I’m feeling out of practice and out of style, so this is me, trying to ease myself back into it. Something clean and nice. Need to add the walls of synth, but for now, reverbs all over the place. So many reverbs.

Anyway. This one is called “Remember, we were kids.” Enjoy!

Highly relaxing, even without the walls of synth. The drum kit clashes slightly with the guitar though, since the drum has no reverb. Like you said, it’s clean and nice.

Amphibian Archeology

Here’s another Homestuck tune, this time for the Frog Temple and all its inhabitants. Jade inspired the bass and flute, while the rest is based on the Exiles. I intended it to sound desert-like. This piece was a blast to work on, as was Pacific Lullaby. I hope I will be able to submit one or the other for consideration on Land of Fans and Music II.

Felt like working on something more peaceful today, so I came up with a theme for Jade on her Pacific island. Finally figured out how to use half these instruments as well, which is a plus on the side of musical education.
